Senior Implementation Specialist (NOC Code 0213)

Your core responsibility will be to support and lead the implementation of Singletouch Enterprise software in office, shop and field environments. You will be responsible for managing data conversions, configuration, training and delivering customizations and report.

This position will on a daily basis interface directly with users and senior management to understand the business requirements, create specifications/ documents, design, develop and implement solutions to meet business needs.

Main Duties
Implementation Specialists perform some or all of the following duties:
• Must be able to assume primary responsibility for the successful implementation of enterprise software under multiple deadlines.
• Create specifications/documents, design, develop and implement solutions to meet business needs.
• Architectural guidance and technical advice.
• Proactive addressing of problems and solutions.
• Mentoring and guidance of system users.

Employment Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with software implementation projects.
• Strong analysis, design, and implementation skills
• Strong coordination and organizational skills to keep multiple projects on point.
• Excellent verbal and written English communications.
• Demonstrated participation in multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
• Successfully implemented new solution, including new work processes or process improvements.
• Solid project experience with ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills for refining existing theories or developing new system approaches to seize opportunities and sustain business success.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the use of innovative solutions.

Software Developer and Support (NOC Code 2174)

 

Your core responsibility will be to assist customers in identifying issues with software, debugging software and modifying software. You will be responsible for entering and updating issues in tracking database and working with other software developers to resolve problems.

This position will on a daily basis interface directly with users to understand the nature of problems then documents, design and develop a solutions to a predefined set of coding standards. The successful candidate is responsible for checking software in and out of version control system.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of hands on implementation large software systems with full life cycle implementations covering blueprint, configuration, go-live, and post-implementation consulting support, end-user documentation and training.

Main duties
Software Developers perform some or all of the following duties:
• Write, modify, integrate and test software code
• Maintain existing software by making modifications as required
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
• Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
• May research and evaluate a variety of software products.

Employment requirements
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component or Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
• Specialization in programming for engineering and scientific applications requires specific post-secondary study or experience.
