Singletouch explained in simple terms
Click here to read our latest press release which will take the mystery away from the question “how can an enterprise software system benefits your business’’

PACKAGES/FINANCE

Singletouch is deployed at all levels of an organization which is used to collect information and analyze it for the purpose of streamlining an organization. All data is stored in a central database where many people in the organization, depending on permissions, have access to the information and reports they need to manage the business.

Singletouch will assist large and small organizations alike, however, the implementation of the product will look different depending on the size and complexity of an organization. What follows is a description of the package all Singletouch clients receive.

Implementation
Implementation encompasses several steps in order to effectively deploy the software in an organization.

Documentation
• Benchmark current key performance indicators
• Review key personnel
• Identify implementation contact or team
• Review current IT infrastructure

Data Management
• Importing data from existing applications or documents
• Identifying custom export requirements
• Understand manual data loading requirements

Business Process Analysis
• Understand current workflow
• Re-map workflow to improve efficiency
• Identify phased approach for implementation

Training
• Training key personnel
• Training general users

Ongoing Client Services
• Periodic site visits
• Training for new employees
• Phone and email support
• Reports and customizations

Software Licensing
Singletouch software is licensed on a “per-seat” basis. That is, each user accessing the system must have a valid license to run the software. This licensing method is simple to administer and is infinitely scalable.

Maintenance
Singletouch is constantly improving its system and there will be periodic updates which will introduce enhancements and fixes. These updates will be pushed out automatically once approved by your company. Maintenance fees go towards the continual improvement in our system.

Customizations
Singletouch can provide professional customization services for new features, applications and reports. These customizations are completed on an hourly or fixed bid basis.

Hardware
For some companies, the mobile devices are not introduced at the very beginning of the implementation but after a set period where business process have had time to settle down. Singletouch works hard to provide hardware choices and uses volume purchasing to secure the lowest price possible on equipment such as handheld devices and tablet PCs.

A Note on Implementation
Implementing Software involves a mix of vendor and customer effort. Although this mix can be of any ratio, the following examples show two ends of the spectrum.

30% Singletouch – 70% Customer
Lower external cost to customer – Higher internal cost to customer
In this scenario, the customer will identify an internal resource or team of people to implement the product. These key stakeholders undergo significant training in all areas of the application and become the “keepers” of the system. Internal resources will typically manage much of the internal process and Singletouch personnel will be their support.

70% Singletouch – 30% Customer
Higher external cost to customer – Lower external cost to customer
In this scenario, Singletouch will act as an internal resource. Singletouch will deploy a team of people who will take time to understand the business and manage the project to completion. Although Singletouch is responsible for most of the implementation process, customer involvement is still a critical success factor.
