Position Title: Training Manager
Status: Exempt, Salaried
Reporting Relationship: Managing Director

Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for effectively training internal employees and external clients on Singletouch software. This person will be responsible for coordination and presentation of training programs for all employees. Assess learning needs to drive training initiatives. Identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees and customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with Implementation Manager to write training documentation and assess client training needs
  • Design, develop, schedule and deliver training to both internal employees and external customers
  • Maintain current training documentation for on-line help
  • Maintain and modify training materials to meet both internal and external customer needs
  • Conduct follow-up studies of completed training to evaluate and measure results
  • Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
  • Develop and monitor budgets, hours and timelines to meet customer requirements while meeting internal business needs
  • Identify gaps in training or delivery and develop effective solutions
  • Direct and manage daily responsibilities of training staff including hiring, performance reviews and project assignments

Other Duties: 

Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Effective organization, communication and project management skills
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Detail oriented, with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • 3 - 5 years experience in training experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of adult learning, course design, and evaluation techniques.
  • Computer skills including the Microsoft Office products
  • Travel required

Proficiency Qualifications:

  • Education to degree level required
  • Experience in Oil and Gas, Electrical Contracting or Commercial Contracting a plus
  • Managerial experience a plus
